we went to hanabi @ odeon towers for dinner on sat .. us outside the place waiting for them to open !!! sashimi !! only the salmon is good .. the rest .. bleah the food... food was not fantastic and it was wayyyy overpriced. will never ever go back again.

my job doesn't give me the satisfaction that i want.

i have neutral feelings about it, i don't hate it neither do i like it.

but its an easy job i guess. with pros and cons of course.

i do things on my own timing i come and leave work as i wish, which is good in a way.

but it is getting so so so boring. argh.

i live just for the weekends.

i realised that i seldom post pics of myself in my own blog.

i love my romper ! bought this in suan lum night market. the only item i bought there.

this was taken last sat when we were having dinner at coffee club.
baby's wearing the fred perry shirt i bought for him as his birthday present last year.
guys clothes are so expensive.
For the price of this shirt, i think i can buy 7 dresses online !!!

lobster bisque baked rice that baby ordered.
he said it tasted abit weird.
and there were only two pathetic scallops !
definitely not enough to satisfy his hunger.

my fave ! slipper lobster pasta.
but i couldn't finish it. taste kinda like maggie goreng. lols.

baby always have to order mudpie when we are at coffee club.
but its just ice-cream what.
i rather have haagen dazs strawberry cheescake. yummmmeh.

we went to 313 after and that was when i started my spending spree !
die die have to go cotton on, zara and forever 21. my weakness.
and we had a break at blue mountain cafe.

my hot fruit tea with orange,apple and pineapple in it.
not that bad, but i think it would be nicer if i ordered the iced one instead.

baby's $9 blue mountain coffee. apparently, its premium coffee.
but paying 9 bucks for a cup of black coffee is way overpriced.

i ordered this to munch on !! total bill for 3 items came up to 26 bucks.

i think half of my salary is spent on food and shopping !!!
why is everything so expensive ?
or rather, why is my pay so pathetic ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! humph.

recently, my cutie pie jacobby has finally learn how to close his mouth. lols.
he's so adorable when he close his mouth !!!!! and he's starting to look more like his daddy.....

My 2009 bags collection !

cotton-on sling bag i got from aussie. my polo ralph bag - 23rd bdae present from baby bag from hong kong. baby and i walked till our legs almost gave way to find the shop !! the bag i bought from far east - for work.baby got this bag from me when he went to taiwan. he knows i love bags in camel colour! pink bag from platinum mall. it becomes triangular shape when carried. Another bag from platinum mall. loveee at first sight for this bag! and then i bought the pink bag as well ..cause its cheaper to get 2 bags at wholesale prices. this was the last piece available at na-raya! this auntie was holding it and once she put it back on the shelf, i just grabbed it.lols. i'll try not to buy so many bags this year ! hahaaaas!!

gonna recall the events that happened in 2009 !!

jan - went sydney and goldcoast. abs love it. missed the time i spent over there studying. although it was only for 6 weeks, i'm glad i had the chance to do it. without babyboy and my family around me, i became more independent and it was such an awesome experience living in another city. i want to bring babyboy to goldcoast ..to show him how beautiful it was to see the moon shining down on the dark ocean and to walk on the soft sand barefooted ! our beaches sucks. lols.

feb - came back just in time for valentine's day. we celebrated at absolute indulgence. good food @ reasonable pricing! Changed my phone to my current one as well !

mar - going crazy from doing lab reports, bought pink netbook from IT show !

apr - my 23rd bdae! went to sg flyer, followed by surprise from babyboy and my sweetest girls.

may - finally done with all my lab reports ! time for a break - HK trip with babyboy. shopped, ate, played like mad. a great trip with baby! came back with loads of stuffs. lovelovelove H&M !!! came back to sg and i fell ill.. luckily it was not H1N1 !! hahas. was so worried at that time.

jun - started job hunting. was so sick of sending resumes, going for interviews and waiting for an answer ! but baby was really sweet to me when i kept bitching about it. =)

jul - after much torture .. i finally graduated !!! yay !! it was a long and tough journey but luckily i had baby .. who suffered together with me. lols.

aug - started work !!

sep - F1 with babyboy. And the birth of jacobby ! he was so small and fragile when we went to see him at Mt Alvernia .. but now he's a chubby little baby who loves being carried !

oct - passed my driving test !!!! i like driving .. but i need to be more careful ! LOLs.

nov - busy busy busy with work !! jacob's full month celebration at my place ..

dec - BKK trip with babyboy ! and more overseas trips to come ! xmas eve .. there wasn't any fancy dinner..but we had good food which filled our tummies ! =) followed by the sky ride at sentosa. it was pretty high !!! freaked out abit.lols. xmas was spent at my aunt's place with loads of food and a yummy logcake from swissotel ! yummmmmmmsss ! new year will be another family affair again !!

2009 was a pretty good year for me .. and i hope 2010 will be as good or even better !!! =D

busy busy busy !
the past week was hectic ..and this week will be the same as well !
BKK trip with baby was not too bad !
did not buy anything for the first 2 days..so i bought stuffs like a mad woman on the last day.lol
when i was in bkk, i felt that i did not really buy much.
but when i was unpacking .. i found loads clothes. hahaha.
seriously need to get a new cabinet..i want to get the pink one from ikea. heh.
the clothes i bought were a little ill-fitting for me ...argh. i prefer to shop in aus..
other than clothes, most of my money were spent on bags and naraya stufffs!
dint get any shoes except for my silver leather sandals !! =D
overall, i loveee the food, shopping was so-so and i hate the crowd, traffic and air pollution !!
next trip .... shall be taiwan ! but i want to go back to sydney to shop or US .. i think i'll go bankrupt at VS, A&F, AE, Coach ...hahaha.... i need to save more $$$ in 2010 !!!

the weekend was fantastic!
sat ..baby and i went to jb!
our third trip to jb and this time round baby decided to drive in!
was abit nervous cause we were not very familar with the roads over there..
usually we will just take cabs around ..but i printed out a map! lols.
the moment we exited the msia customs, we turned the wrong way!
but baby trusted his instincts and we finally reached our destination !
i dint buy much ! only went to mango, bought a pair of khaki shorts and a pink cardigan..
bill came up to RM115 .. dono if its cheaper? but nvm.. its not my $$ !
and i bought a pair of black pumps from vincci ...comfy and chic for work !
after that we went to wash car ! a wrong decision!
cause after that we went for dinner at taman sentosa and baby parked at this place full of birds...
when we came back, the car was filled with bird shit!! so we went to wash the car again!
but its ok .. cause its cheap and good! wash,vacum, clean inner windows and tyre shine for RM8 !
anyways, we went back to the same stall for cereal crayfish! yumm.
had char kway tiao,sting ray, lala and veggies too ! all damn cheap.
i saw the loklok van just outside..but we were too full !
must try it next time!!
after dinner we went to pump petrol !! haha.very typical.
but petrol there is really cheap ! i think its RM1.80 per litre ..
which is like S$0.75 per litre! half price !!

i like their kaya toast,but it must be eaten when its hot..
if not it'll turn soggy ! which i dont like! nasi lemak! i like the chilli !! but i must have it with the otah!
it is served cold though! would be wayyy yummier if they warmed it up! prata !! its not oily unlike some places and the curry is not bad too ..

mid-autumn festival

we wanted to go to the chinese garden..
but this year there were no celebrations ..
so we went to marina barrage..
my mum stole my camera so i had to take pics using my phone ..
hence.. the pics are all quite dark!!

hahaaa...it was windy .. baby looking greenish like shrek.lols. me with my lantern! his and my lantern sitting like an ah pek. i was afraid the lanterns might get burnt. i left the lanterns on the bench,the wind blew and baby's lantern went up in flames.
then he got angry with me.petty boy.

the movie was just alright... not that fantastic... but the food in the movie looks so cute!

i bought a new pair of jeans from zara again! and a grey skirt from pull &bear .. i realised that was a gap at the zip behind ..but all the others had the same problem.. so i got it anyway !cause i love it! baby keeps nagging at me to stop buying clothes! argh.
but what i bought yday were bottoms, not tops ! guys just dont get it.
and i saw this bag at AX which i kinda fancy ... i prefer the brown instead of black..

Singapore Grand Prix with baby on sat !!

officially graduated on the 8th of july 2009.
at the raffles city convention centre..
was abit nervous when it was my turn to go upstage.

baby and i watched transformers last sunday at shaw.
the movie was filled with bombings, robots and megan fox.
it's a guy's movie ..but i kinda like it though.
and guess what we saw after the movie?

went swimming with baby at the jurong west ssc.
weather was damn freaking hot and it feels good to be in the water !
they don't have much stuff to play over there so its pretty boring.
and i dint try the slide coz i was afraid. heh.
i wanted to try e kid's one and the lifeguard stopped me. argh.
as if the slide will break under my weight!
i wanted to sit on the float. but the kiosk was closed. damn.
i wannnnnna go to the other one at jurong east st 31 !

-saturday-

wanted to go for tom yam steamboat at suntec but they dint have tom yam.
upset lo. baby said im so spoilt, cause i always sulk when i dont get what i want.humph.
we ended up at kushinbo.
baby wanteed to try it long ago, but they always had long queues which kept us away. we attacked the crabs and prawns !
the rest of the food was just alright.
baby said we will go back again, ten years later.lol.
we went over to millenia walk and we had a lovely stroll over there...
it reminded us of the old times when we just got together.
it'll be our 2yr anni this month! time flies!

i'll be gng for a 2 day attachment.i hope everything goes well.

it is definitely much more special to share ur happiness with a loved one when overseas.such as baby holding my hand when we were in the tram, gng up the peak. the happy moments we had at the peak, taking photos, having ice-cream and running in the rain.

we had some squabbles along the way due to the hot weather, aching legs, heavy bags and locked toilets !! and the tiny things that happened, such as the bathroom incident, which was damn funny. all these thing will not be forgotten, instead, it's these little things that made the trip even more memorable.right honey?

baby said i tortured him the 4 days in HK .. caused we walked till his legs were cui! i fared a little better den him cause i did alot of walking in aus, haa.. im trained baby !! we dint even club, which we wanted to cause we were so tired ! we ended up at the bistro beside our hotel instead. lol. so, last sun, i treated baby to a foot massage cause his legs were still aching. hee. never underestimate the allure of shopping for woman !!

i saw this bag in a shop at mongkok and i got to get it ! but the shop was closed so we went back the next day, which was the last day where we climbed manyyy steps up to the big buddha. our legs were seriously gng to give way! but baby insisted that we have to continue searching for the shop. there were alot of little malls around mongkok so we were a little lost! we dint know which mall the shop was at. but, eventually, we found it! yay! and i got the bag! baby got himself a black pouch from the shop too. this time round, i dint buy alot of clothes, cause the fashion there is more towards jap/korea side whereas i prefer us/aus/uk fashion ! e top that i love the most! i bought the most stuff at H&M ! cause its cheap!! love the sandals.heh. cosmetics from H&M. i'll always buy keychains from the disney shop at the airport..and this time round..i bought 3! baby and i bought and identical keychain,just that he has the mickey version while i had the one with minnie's hand. e middle one which is a lock, actually works! and lastly.. cute pjs from temple street market.

food...food and more food !

congee,wanton mee,hui lau san's dessert and breakfast at mongkok ! went back to the wanton mee stall that spoush brought me to! yumm..i love e noodles! damn springy ! and the huge wanton !! damn full after this meal.. but we still managed to have some space for dessert.i love the little white balls..i think its called fen yuan. haaa!! baby and i were snatching for the little balls.

dumpling bought at causeway bay ! niceee. everything just tastes sooo good !! roast pork and char siew rice. roast goose rice.HK milk tea.wanton mee.club sandwich and bacon and cheese fries!i had the roast goose rice at mongkok ! the meat is v fat and juicy !! and i managed to finish most of it. yum yum!! and i dono why i keep eating sandwiches for breakfast!

we had jap food at this sushi place called sushi one, which was damn crowded. we only realised later that they only serve sushi and no main courses ! but it wasnt that bad.. salmon is really fresh and the softshell crab ...im getting hungry! our last breakfast before heading to the airport! dimsum at this restaurant which the cab driver recommended. i loveeee the pork and salted fish with rice!! it was very cheap though. the bill came up to only sgd20. i dint take pics of the chicken rice we had at mongkok..we were hungry so we just randomly went into this restaurant then we realised that its a chicken rice shop. lol. anyway we just ordered that..and it was surprisingly good! chicken was tender, rice was soft and the sauce made it even more yummy ! much better den the chicken rice in sg!! and i miss the peanut butter waffle that we had...sigh!!

the 4 days spent in HK with my babyboy was fantastic...although we had some hiccups!!everything was still the same .. but there are alot of constructions gng on there..baby was not used to it so he was abit ...grumpy. so we went there to shop & eat, eat & shop !!
baby asked me the last time i went with spoush to HK, how long we stayed out and i said from 10am to 11pm and he said we were crazy.but we did the same ! haa, we went out at 10, came back at 11.. cause there were just so many things to do!
we arrived at the HK airport at ard 1pm and we waited for the coach to pick us up !the coach was the luxury kind, like those 14 seats grassland buses to msia.damn shiok, cause the seats were huge and super comfy, well, we paid 20bucks each for a single trip !!
the hotel room... we loved it !! its not too small and everything looks so new and modern !and the bed is really comfy ..with loads of pillows on it !

the corridor that looks posh and mysterious ! haaaa the entrance..bathroom by the left hand side and a full length mirror beside it.. comfyy bed ! with loads of pillows.i like! our sleepy carebear,gaoju. he's been to bintan with us, sydney and gold coast with me and now, HK ! he needs a passport! the living area..where we throw all our shopping bags. dressing table..which became very messy.heh tv ! they had a welcome msg with both our names in it! wardrobe and fridge! forgot to take pic of the bathroom ! heh ! everything..the lights and temperature were all controlled by this "remote control" by the side of the bed. which was really cool.they even had inbuilt speakers in the room that blasted music when baby pressed the radio button. u can even select 'do not disturb' or 'make-up room' by the control ! aaah. i'll surely go back to this hotel again !!

my sweet 23rd.

it started with a sumptuous lunch at my fave sushi tei..
i ordered all my favourites !!

after that we went for our sg flyer ride ! the view would be much better after the IR's complete..cause the construction seem to spoil the scenery.ha. but at least baby was with me! we cam-whored the whole time coz there's nothing much to do !!

Our ride ended at 5plus and then baby told me that we had to rot till 10pm.. i kept asking him what he was up to but he simply refused to tell me anything!so we went to shop .. went to marina barrage until 10pm! when he said it was time for my surprise ! at first .. we ended up at the wrong location and then he finally found the place with my help. he brought me to this boutique hotel..and straight up to the room. i stepped in and i was surprised to see my dear girls..spoush,wendy,gim and veron ! the room was filled with rose petals and ballons..it had a very dreamy feel to it!! im really damn touched by what baby and the 4 sweeties had done for me. thanweeeew so much..i love u all damnn mucchh !!

recently .. there were 2 commercials that i really like ..
the speak mandarin campaign and the mcys famiy advert abt imperfections..

the first one featured foreign kids speaking mandarin ..which was really cute !!
even my mum said that they were sooo adorable ! there is just something abt caucasian kids speaking mandarin that makes it very endearing !
but the advert was slammed by viewers saying that it was meant to ridicule us cause we couldnt speak good mandarin ??they are totally ridiculous man!!

next is the pro-family campaign by mcys which featured an indian widow talking abt her deceased husband..i felt that it was a very touching advert which was different from others.
it stood out cause there was no direct msg that was given out..
but from watching the whole episode u could get what they are trying to send out..
and today .. i read in the newspapers that pple are saying that the advert encouraged pple to settle for second best because the advert revolved ard the words beautiful imperfections.
damn ! singaporeans are just so critical !!

so, we are so called more civilised and cultured than chinese nationals but,seriously, these critics are no different from those chinese nationals that slam even the tiniest thing.

the long weekend was dopee !

Fast & Furious 4 at iluma !
it was awesome ...i love the movie !
i think its better than the shinjuku incident .. heh
was supposed to meet ragv for steamboat ..
but due to some miscommunication ..
i joined baby and his friends for steamboat instead !
but i still got to see ragv since we were all at bugis !
its been a long long time since i met up with them ..!

watched AVP2 at baby's place ..
baby wanted to watch it when it was released but i refused to watch it in the cinema ..
hahaaa... cause it had be a waste of money ! so we rented the dvd !
after the dvd session .. we went for claypot rice at geylang !
but they dint have the curry pork ribs that day .. uber upset !!
cause i was craving for it !!
and we finally had durians ! although we were already damn full !
durian mission accomplished !!

saw something really sweet from coach .. but its alittle too formal for me ..
and i dowan baby to spend so much anyways ..

i bought a netbook at the IT fair yday! we went in the morning and the carpark at suntec was already full !
so we went to marina sq's carpark instead and we spent 30mins just looking for a slot!
i was contemplating on getting an acer or LG netbook..
eventually, i got the LG one cause its much prettier ! heh
and partly because it came with the dvd writer ..
but when we were told that it is out of stock after we made our payment, babyboy got really mad ! cause he said that its like we were cheated !
baby went to confront the guy and he just apologised saying that he dint know about it !
which is bullshit !! he obviously will not tell us that it is oos,cause we'll definitely not get it !
afterall, the freebies are an incentive for consumers !
so now we have to wait till the 23rd before we can get the dvd writer ! argh!!
well, its a lesson learnt..next time we will check that everything is available before purchasing !

the crystal for my fossil watch has finally arrived from the states ..after 6 months !!
i was pretty upset when one of the crystal on my fossil watch dropped off and i immediately went down to the fossil service centre to get it replaced !
but they did not have any stock for my crystal..so i had to wait for it and initally they told me it would take 2-3 months.
but after countless phone calls, it still wasnt here yet!
so i emailed to complain about their ineffiency and babyboy called to rant at the customer service officer at the service centre ...
and finally their manger called me today ..
telling me that the crystal had arrived and they were going to replace the whole bracelet for me ..for free ! cause i waited so long for it ! haaa !

bimbotic toiletries bag from ripcurl .. thats so cuteeee ! lol got this to replace my old S&K cap .. which i dumped in sydney.. small sling bag from cotton on .. i heart stuffs that have black & gold combination ! bling slippers i got in gold coast for aud 40 .. tops from supre.. bottoms from supre too.. from SES/tighrope chica booti ! valley girl .. from just jeans !

all my clothes were bought from those specifc shops..supre..valleygirl .. all their local brands ..they are having their summer sales, so the clothes are really cheaaaap ! would have bought more if there's someone to carry my luggage for me! my luggage exceeded the limit .. and luckily they waived off the tax ! but it was soooo torturous lugging around a huge luggage+handcarry+laptop bag from sydney to gold coast and from gold coast back to sydney! luckily i had some help from really helpful caucasians !!
